one of 5 miniature paintings for the 2015 40th International Annual Miniature Art Society of Florida Exhibit, opening date is 1/18/15 - 2/17/15. to be held in the Leepa-Rattner Fine Art Museum. This is my favorite horse, the Gypsy Vanner! they are only 15-15.5 hands high but very muscular. their manes, tale, and the feather on their legs are like no other horse. They most always have a blue eye or two and seems as though they can look into your soul and indeed I do believe they are noble and magical. this is only 2.5 x 3.25 inches! What a challenge but how I wrapped myself up in this painting as it progressed was also magical, she grabbed my soul from within the painting, her blue eyes spoke to me, Her soft pink nose moves with breath as her flowing mane tale and feather wave with her stride. This is Summer Rose owned by Stillwater Farm, Robin V. all her horses are amazing but she is my favorite.
