Artist's Description
This is a 9x12 pastel portrait done from a Public Domain Photo from the late 1800's. The photo as you can imagine was in sepia so all color you see here has been created from my imagination. I saw that the crow Indians used blue paint in their short hair on top and couldn't wait to add that to my portrait. I couldn't really see his eyes well so I added soft brown eyes and gaze that can help you imagine what he is thinking...I hope. Please check out the frame in the "Frames I Use" Gallery
